Klausen (Italian: Chiusa) is a commune (municipality) in South Tyrol in northern Italy, located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northeast of the city of Bolzano. In the 2011 census, 91.3% of the population speak German, 7.9% Italian and 0.8% spoke the ancient Ladin langauge as their mother tongue.
