The Artisans Angkor is a collective of artists producing carvings of wood and stone, silk making and other traditional artistic forms. The artists, who have little other opportunity, and many of whom are deaf and dumb train for approximately 4 years, then work for the collective. They also have the opportunity to develop their own studios. The skill and craftmanship that can be viewed here is extraordinary.
