They will be planted and grown on at the Estate's arboretum and eventually planted out to make more beech trees and hedges in the Howardian Hills. Castle Howard Estate is in the Howardian Hills AONB, a landscape with well-wooded rolling countryside, patchwork of arable and pasture fields, scenic villages and historic country houses with classic parkland landscapes.
