Phil Clarke Hill

In late 2015 for 36 days the disused Tropicana Lido on the pier in the run down seaside town of Weston Super Mare in Somerst, near Bristol, UK, was turned into an anti theme park by famous street artist Banksy. The project was a parody on Disneyland and consumer culture, and acted as an exhibition of political and underground artworks. An effort was made to involve the local community, and it was generally very well received by residents of Weston.
