UK - London - Notting Hill carnival

Portobello Road is heaving with people at sunset after the parade has finished. Mounted police in riot gear move in to controle the crowd. The Notting Hill Carnival has been running since 1966 and is every year attended by up to a million people. The carnival is a mix of amazing dance parades and street parties with a distinct Caribbean feel.
