New prisoners are issued with: plastic cutlery, plastic mug, plastic bowl and plastic plate, tooth brush, cleaning cloth, toothpaste, deodorant and shower gel. HMP/YOI Portland is a resettlement prison with a capacity for 530 prisoners.
