William Mitchell Mural Reinstalled Bracknell

The William Mitchell Mural, taken down in 2015 before the Crossway precinct was demolished to make way for The Lexicon shopping centre, is pictured at its new location on the exterior of Braccan Walk car park on 18 September 2020 in Bracknell, United Kingdom. The 30m fibreglass and bronze mural depicts events from Bracknell’s history and was commissioned by the Bracknell Development Corporation in the 1960s to mark the 25th anniversary of Bracknell having been designated a new town in 1949.
