UK - London - Cross Bones Graveyard

Memorial left at Cross Bones Graveyard in Southwark, London. In medieval times this was an u consecrated graveyard for prostitutes. By the 18th century it had become a paupers burial ground, which closed in 1853. Here at the site, local people have created a memorial shrine to The Outcast Dead. This photo was left in memory of Audrey King, Descendant of the Thames Watermen. 1918 - 2014.
