UK - Weston-super-Mare - Queen mannequin in hotel window

A mannequin of Queen Elizabeth appears in a hotel window on the seafront of Weston-super-Mare, north Somerset. Seated on a throne and holding one of her beloved Corgi pet dogs, the monarch has been placed in the front window of the Midland Hotel on the seafront of this seaside town in England's south-west. She looks cheap and nasty, a not-so welcoming effigy for arriving guests but typical perhaps, of some UK holiday towns still desperate to attract elderly royalists rather than the young.
