We look down from bridge level into the lower levels of walkway and pedestrian ramps where passers-by make their way parallel to the River Thames on its north bank. A men emerges from the tunnel leading to Blackfriars station and others run or walk under that pavement. The theme is of steps and stairs, of railings and 80s architecture.
