England - London - Homeward commuter during snow storm.
An early morning commuter makes his way home after his night shift in central London to his home nearby in Herne Hill, SE24 - a distance of approximately 6 miles. Trudging on foot through ever-deepening snow, the showers are still falling as he makes his way along the deserted street. Street lighting makes this quiet landscape glow orange and we look down the road to see only a few parked cars at the kerbsides and the tracks of a few others that have already driven along. Thousands of snowflakes are fluttering to the ground, settling on this part of London's inner-city - an unusual event - and the heaviest precipitation for 18 years.Add to Cart Add to Lightbox Download
