National student demonstration in London, protesting against tuition fees and the threat of top-up fees. Students from all over the UK gathered in central London for a second mass demo in protest of the coalition govenrnment's plans for education funding. Centred around Whitehall the protest was partly peaceful but also marred by arrests and some violence.
