  • The Mr Chelsea Body Beautiful talent competition is held on the Kings Road in London. Entrants are handsome males and girls showing their muscles and well-trimmed bodies. We see hairy chests, pectorals and biceps on-show by these young exhibitionists who parade themselves in the open-air. Slightly behind them there are also two elderly ladies looking like sisters or perhaps twins. They were once beautiful themselves and sit eagerly on a bench against a wall peering at the handsome young men, wishing they were young again. One holds a walking stick and the other grasps a bottle of wine. It is a scene of young and old, of youth and ageing beauty.

A girl is shown also lounging about enjoying a Magnum on a beautiful sun-kissed beach, with the sun reflecting on a calm sea. • Lying horizontal in a busy salon, a lady passenger receives eyebrow threading treatment during a beauty session at the Blink Eyebrow Bar in World Duty Free, Heathrow Airport's terminal 5. The beautician holds the thread that squeezes the woman's eyebrow follicles, removing the tiniest and finest hair right from the root. Threading is a technique that China has been using for centuries but has recently become popular in western countries. Amid the busy departures terminal of this international aviation hub, this is a corner of quiet and tranquillity before the woman traveller boards her business flight after this few minutes of pampering. From writer Alain de Botton's book project "A Week at the Airport: A Heathrow Diary" (2009).

  • A beautiful brunette woman is watched by an unknown male in a club in London's West End during a packed Bhangra-themed music night. As if being stalked by this male pest, we see a moment in this young woman’s evening as she enjoys a night out with girlfriends. The man scratches his nose at the same time as the woman brushes her hand against her cheek. It is hot in the busy club and the man is seen perspiring – he may be a stalker and he may be an innocent bystander – but it does look as though he has a keen interest in this dark-haired beauty. The Asian music is loud and the atmosphere is a pounding throng of young people but our attention is still with the two people, one oblivious to the other.

Titterstone Clee Hill, sometimes referred to as Titterstone Clee or, incorrectly, Clee Hill, is a prominent hill in the rural English county of Shropshire, rising at the summit to 533 metres above sea level. It is one of the Clee Hills, in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Most of the summit of the hill is affected by man-made activity, the result of hill fort construction during the Bronze and Iron Ages and, more recently, by years of mining for coal and quarrying for dolerite, known locally as dhustone, for use in road-building. Many derelict quarry buildings scattered over the hill are of industrial archaeological interest as very early examples of the use of reinforced concrete. Several radar domes and towers operate on the summit of the hill. The largest of the radar arrays is part of the National Air Traffic Services NATS radar network, and covers one of 30 overlapping regions of UK airspace. The one on Titterstone Clee monitors all aircraft within a 100-mile radius.

The largest of the radar arrays is part of the National Air Traffic Services NATS radar network, and covers one of 30 overlapping regions of UK airspace. The one on Titterstone Clee monitors all aircraft within a 100-mile radius.
