• Street art by Obey in Shoreditch, East London, United Kingdom. Street art in the East End of London is an ever changing visual enigma, as the artworks constantly change, as councils clean some walls or new works go up in place of others. While some consider this vandalism or graffiti, these artworks are very popular among local people and visitors alike, as a sense of poignancy remains in the work, many of which have subtle messages.

 • Awkwardly, carrying their giant rubber rings by wrapping their left hands over the top curves, three kids make their way tentatively down a ramp of concrete to a poolside ride called River Run. There are two yellow rings and one red, alternatively manhandled along the path which is already wet from other holidaymakers in this northern seaside resort of Scarborough, North Yorkshire. We do not see the childrens' faces or upper-bodies and are therefore anonymous. A sign for the ride lists a series of rules for safe enjoyment of this leisure pursuit which they are urged to obey.

Anonymous is a loosely associated international network of activist and hacktivist entities. A website nominally associated with the group describes it as "an internet gathering" with "a very loose and decentralized command structure that operates on ideas rather than directives". The group became known for a series of well-publicized publicity stunts and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks on government, religious, and corporate websites.

OBEY artist decorates the path to hell...
Shangri-La is the after-hours epicentre of Glastonbury Festival, a largely indescribable, ephemeral and interactive world that really comes to life after dark.
Unique among festivals, Shangri-la has a central narrative that pins it all together, it evolves year by year (a bit like Star Wars). All contributors respond to this narrative, and add to it via their installations, venues and performances. When it all comes together on site the audience have a wholly immersive world to become lost in with a myriad of places to explore.
Exploration and discovery is an important aspect of Shangri-la. A maze of covered alleys is riddled with nano-venues, performers and installations, artworks and hidden doors.
In 2014 Shangri-La explored the way we create heavens and hells for ourselves.
