Kilburn is a village and civil parish in North Yorkshire, England. It lies on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, and 6.2 miles (10.0 km) north of Easingwold.

  • Door to the Arches project space in the old industrial area and railway arches of Digbeth on 14th December 2020 in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Following the destruction of the Inner Ring Road, Digbeth is now considered a district within Birmingham City Centre, and is the epicentre for arts and graffiti artworks as well as its status as a once-gritty bohemian district known for street art and a young and hip people attending events and creative workshops at the Custard Factory and grungy clubs in former warehouses. As part of the Big City Plan, Digbeth is undergoing a large redevelopment scheme that will regenerate the old industrial buildings into apartments, retail premises, offices and arts facilities. There is still however much industrial activity in the south of the area.

  • Two green Sustrans flags displayed on a bicycle handlebars at the opening of the Bath Two Tunnels Greenway on 6th April 2013 in Somerset, United Kingdom.  A large number of cyclists and pedestrians attended the event to celebrate the restored railway tunnels which link 13-miles through the beautiful country-side.  The restoration of the tunnels was organised by Sustrans, working in partnership with Bath and North East Somerset Council.   Sustrans is a charity that works with communities, policy-makers and partner organisations so that people can choose healthier, cleaner and cheaper journeys and enjoy better, safer spaces to live in. The event was attended by hundreds of people.

  • A car-load of women travel towards Ascot in a rented limousine on Ladies Day at Royal Ascot racing week. With wide-brimmed hats taking up space in the low-roofed executive car, the ladies look excited at a day of horse racing and bubbly. Royal Ascot is held every June and is one of the main dates on the sporting calendar and English social season. Over 300,000 people make the annual visit to Berkshire during Royal Ascot week, making this Europe’s best-attended race meeting. There are sixteen group races on offer, with at least one Group One event on each of the five days. The Gold Cup is on Ladies' Day on the Thursday. There is over £3 million of prize money on offer.

  • A happy group of male and female cyclists line up outside the entrance to the Devonshire Tunnel eagerly awaiting the official opening of the Two Tunnel Greenway in Bath, Somerset, England, United Kingdom on 6th April 2013.
