Long shadows stretch across the path and the family of three generations make their way towards the lighter area of the forest. The British summer is what the English miss most when away and we almost smell the scents of the woods, the beech and pine trees plus some ferns and soil of the northern hemisphere. The last light finds the trees in the otherwise dense and dark woods.
