  • The lower legs of two boys playing basketball, partially intersected by a poster of a crowd - in a south London park. We look through the wire fence of this public space in southeast London in the borough of Lewisham. And the juxtaposed lower limbs of the boys on the court are in reality playing their own game but still merge with the image, a trick of the eye especially as the legs seem to be matched to individuals.

  • The lower legs of two boys playing basketball, partially intersected by a poster of a crowd - in a south London park. We look through the wire fence of this public space in southeast London in the borough of Lewisham. The faces and bodies of the audience look towards the viewer, a crowd of spectators perhaps created by CGI at some sort of event. And the juxtaposed lower limbs of the boys on the court are in reality playing their own game but still merge with the image, a trick of the eye especially as the legs seem to be matched to individuals.

  • Woman's legs and arm with construction hoarding, a part of the forthcoming fashion label, Valentino Garavani's new shop in New Bond Street, central London. A pair of shopper's legs walk fast across the city, the repetition of limbs and feet. From ground level, we look across the road to see a scene of humour and madness amid a landscape of construction and disruption.

  • Zombies eating joke severed limbs. Stoke Newington Zombie-a-thon. Hundreds of people joined together in protest in North London to demonstrate against the planned opening of a large Sainsbury's supermarket. Dressed up as zombies the protesters were making the point that they should keep local shops in the area and not have the high street ruined by large chains. The action by Stokey Local says: "In Stoke Newington, even the dead are rising up to say 'no' to a proposed Sainsbury's development." Walking slowly as if in a zombie film the march culminated in passing a Sainsbury's Local supermarket on the High Street. In the middle of June it was announced that a development is being planned for Wilmer Place, just beside Abney Park Cemetery on the corner of Church Street and the High Street – right in the heart of Stoke Newington. The proposed development comprises a large Sainsbury's supermarket and 44 homes and has significant implications for the diversity of the local economy, local employment, transport & traffic, noise and safety and local heritage.
