Listening to an mp3 device, a man reads the Sports section of his newspaper on the top deck of a London bus. Seated by the window of this double-decker, the man has wires from his music device protruding from his ears, listening perhaps to his favourite band or live radio as his commuting journey stops and starts in inner-city traffic. Another passenger sits in the row in front and she too appears to be reading, or sleeping. Affordable flats are in the distance outside.
