  • Stickers cover the signpost marking the summit of the Wurzjoch Pass, in the Puez Geisler Nature Park and on the road between Brixen-Bessanone and St Martin in Badia. Obscuring the information intended for drivers and tourists, the stickers come from all over the world: For example, many German biker clubs leave their mark plus BMW and Porsche touring groups and other motoring organisations. The Puez Geisler Nature Park is a regional park situated right in the heart of the Dolomite mountain world and is one of the most beautiful and striking in the entire Alpine region.

  • Joke bumper stickers for sale at Southend-on-sea, Essex. The town could be described as run down as while there are some signs of affluence, these are few and far between. The predominant atmosphere is quite rough feeling and quite poor. Southend is a seaside resort that is very popular with people from the East side of London due to it's close proximity, just an hour away by train along the Thames Gateway. With the decline of seaside resorts, from the 1960s much of the centre was developed for commerce and many of the original features were destroyed through redevelopment or neglect.

  • As if about to be crunched underfoot, shattered glass from the windows of offices in the historic City of London side-street, stickers and notices for Access (Mastercard) and American Express (Amex) credit cards lie on the disaster-strewn pavement (sidewalk). This is some of the debris lying about after the huge Bishopsgate bomb on 24th April 1993, London's most expensive terrorist atrocity during the Provisional Irish Republican Army's (IRA) sustained bombings on the British mainland. Buildings up to 500 metres away were damaged, with one and a half million square feet (140,000 sq m) of office space being affected and over 500 tonnes of glass broken. Costs of repairing the damage was estimated at £350 million and was possibly the IRA's most successful military tactic since the start of what was called the Troubles from 1969 onwards.
