Located on Longhua Road, the temple was first built in 242 AD, during the period of the Three Kingdoms. This is the oldest temple in Shanghai and also the largest at 20,000 square metres including it’s grounds. Because of several destructions by the wars, most of the buildings in Longhua Temple were reconstructed during the reign of the Emperor Tongzhi and Guangxu during the Qing Dynasty.

  • William Blake's poem London is written in the pavement at Bunhill Fields, the place in the City of London where the poet is buried. London is a poem by William Blake, published in Songs of Experience in 1794. William Blake was a poet and artist who specialised in illuminated texts, often of a religious nature. He rejected established religion for various reasons, including the failure of the established Church to help children in London who were forced to work. Blake lived and worked in the capital, so he was arguably well placed to write clearly about the conditions people who lived there faced.

Britains Department of Transport has awarded to an unproven shipping company, Seaborne Freight, to provide run roll-on roll-off ferry services to the road haulage industry between Ostend and the Kent port - in the event of more likely No Deal Brexit. In the EU referendum of 2016, people in Kent voted strongly in favour of leaving the European Union with 59% voting to leave and 41% to remain.
