The village of a thriving Rutherian community was once here in Biala Woda where over 100 farms were located - the remains of which are still seen. A wooden cross with a figure of Christ cut from sheet metal survived the culture. Similar crosses and chapels can be found in the colloquial language of White Water  in the Romanian, Ukrainian or Eastern Slovakia Carpathians.
