  • Aysen Dennis, a resident on the Aylesbury Estate for the past 24 years on 13th May 2016 in South London, United Kingdom. Originally from Turkey, Aysen came to London in 1988 and squatted in Camberwell, then moved to Brixton. 24 years ago, in 93 she moved into the Aylesbury Estate as a council tenant. For 16 years she has been fighting a class war against the regeneration of the estate, and is one of the founding members of the Fight for Aylesbury campaign.  The Aylesbury Estate, a large housing estate located in Walworth, it contains 2,704 dwellings and was built between 1963 and 1977. The estate is partially occupied and is currently undergoing a major redevelopment.
