Trussell Trust foodbanks provide a minimum of three days emergency food and support to people experiencing crisis.  In 2012-13 foodbanks fed 346,992 people nationwide. Of those helped, 126,889 were children.  In response to the Government cuts to welfare, foodbanks have experienced a significant increase in demand and in September 2013, Kingston foodbank provided food for their 5,000th person.  Food is collected from schools, churches, businesses and individuals, who donate non-perishable, in-date food, such as UHT milk, sugar, tuna.

The London Stock Exchange was attempted occypied in solidarity with Occupy Wall in Street in New York and in protest againts the economic climate, blamed by many on the banks. Police managed to keep people away fro the Patornoster Sqaure and the Stcok Exchange and thousands of protestors stayid in St. Paul's Square, outside St Paul's Cathedral. Many camped getting ready to spend the night in the square.

  • As evening light fades, bright light from the electricity-hungry Canary Wharf docklands development is supplied by the voltage from electricity cables and supporting struts at West Ham sub-station, Canning Town, London England. A network of 110 miles of cables have stretched across 542 'L6' pylons across England's Kent countryside, from the coal-fired power station at Dungeness to this location, carrying 40,000 Volts along this network of aluminium cables to power some of London's high supply demands. Insatiable appetites for energy means electricity is now an expensive comodity after climbing oil prices doubled electricity utility bills for some domestic users.

The game is played on a smooth, flat surface with markings per a regulation football field. Typical dimensions of the table would be 1.84 m long by 1.20 m wide, with the field being 1.67 m by 1.04 m. Goals are typically 12.5 cm wide by 5 cm tall per the interior dimensions.<br />

At the opening kickoff, all 11 pieces are relegated to their respective sides. Button are always circular in shape.   • Victoria and Lee with their son Bo. They are on their way to Brighton for the day but are now stuck, hot and hungry on a broken down train. A First Capital Connect train breaks down outside London Bridge. The train and passengers are stuck for two and half hours before the passengers are transferred onto another train and taken to East Croydon. Many of the passengers are travellers heading to Gatwick Airport and they all miss their planes.

  • The camp was only set up over night but already the camp kitchen can feed numerous hungry people. Reclaim the Power camp is set up in a field near Balcombe. The site is squatted but so far nor the owner nor police has made any moves to stop the camp from setting up. It is organised by the environmental group No Dash for Gas and the movement is protesting against the company Cuadrilla's fracking testing near Balcombe and have come to Balcombe to len its support to the local protests against the drilling for gas.
